Definitions:
“Guests” means the consumer who purchases the goods and/or services.
"Rainbow Place" means Rainbow Place Apartments the property.
THE GUEST UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS
- A deposit of $200 is required when making a reservation.
- December/January reservations require a 50% deposit.
- All deposits paid to Rainbow Place are non refundable, except under section (8) of the Terms and Conditions.
Cancellation Policy
- Bookings cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival will have deposit refunded less 20% handling fee.
- Bookings cancelled within 14 to 30 days of arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the amount of the booking.
- Bookings cancelled 14 days prior or less means that the Guest is liable for the full balance.
- In some cases deposits can be transferable to other dates with sufficient notice.
- In the event of extreme hardship being caused to a Guest, in the opinion of Rainbow Place,Rainbow Place reserves the right to cancel a booking and relinquish all responsibility on money owing by the Guest to the client.
- If Rainbow Place elects to cancel a booking it is at the total discretion of Rainbow Place as to whether a Guest receives a refund.
- Where Guests neglects to pay the monies when owed, Rainbow Place reserves the right to deem this as a cancellation and cancel the booking. Should this happen then the Guest forfeits their deposit if the booking is cancelled within 30 days of the date of the booking.
- It is at Rainbow Place full discretion as to what monies are refundable.
- The credit card holder gives Rainbow Place authority to debit the credit card for any money owing from this booking in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
- Any money refund that was taken from a credit card that needs to be refunded incurs a 5% refund surcharge.
- When the guest(s) arrives to register for their accommodation, balance of monies owing are to be paid, and a registration of the guest(s) credit card or $100.00 bond to left as security for the duration of the stay before keys are handed out. Providing the apartment has been vacated on the terms of “The Departure Notice”, credit card details will be destroyed, or bond refunded.
- When a Guest rents and apartment or room the person(s) named on the booking confirmation are liable for any damage caused to the room or apartment. If any damage is caused to the apartment the Guest gives Rainbow Place and/or the property authority to debit the Guests credit card for the costs of any repairs.
- If a Guest arrives at the property and does not like the accommodation that they have chosen they will be liable for the full balance owed. Unless it can be proven without a reasonable doubt that they did not get what was promised on the Confirmation Letter or what was depicted on the website, with consideration to section (17).
- All units are strata titled. This means that each apartment within is owned by a different person. Because of this the furnishings in each apartment can vary. On our website we have displayed a photo of all apartments under the Deluxe and Standard category. The photos are used as a guide and neither Rainbow Place nor the property can be responsible if your apartment does not look exactly like the photo.
- Under NO circumstances are ANIMALS of any type permitted on or inside the premises.
- In the event that there is a problem with the products and services booked through Rainbow Place, all Guests are to contact Rainbow Place.
- The Guest cannot hold the management of Rainbow Place responsible for any noise from construction work occurring close to the property.
- All parties agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions
- All parties agree that Queensland law governs this agreement and all proceeds should be filed in a Queensland Court. Should a proceeding my filed in a court located in any other state all parties agree to have the proceedings moved to the closest court to the head office of Rainbow Place Apartments.
